TARGET TROPHIES on Lytham Road has been under new management for 1 year and turnover is already exceeding expectations.
The family run trophy store has been in Blackpool for over 30 years, and on 1 December 2021 was purchased by Ray Wallis. Ray, 62, has worked in the print industry for 10 years and at the end of 2021 made the decision to move from large scale industry to local high street shop.
“With new commitments of getting married on the horizon, I decided I wanted a new challenge, probably my biggest to date.” said Ray.
Target Trophies services many of the hotels in Blackpool including the Lyndene Hotel and the Raddison, as well as other local industries such as BAE Systems. They also supply and engrave trophies for various sports clubs including Blackpool Football Club, AFC Fylde, and awards for local schools such as St Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy, Revoe Learning Academy, and Marton Primary Academy.
Target Trophies pride themselves on excellent customer service, as is evident from the feedback they receive;

Since taking on the business in 2021, Ray has subsequently purchased Shoe Care & Key Cutting, Waterloo Road Indoor Market.
“When I saw Shoe Care up for sale, the decision to buy was easy” Ray said, “it made sense to move the trade from Waterloo Road to my store on Lytham Road and the regular customers are happy with the service we’re providing.”
Target Trophies offers a wide range of in-house services from supplying trophies, engraving and glass etching, key cutting, sublimation and number plate printing, as well as clothing; printed and embroidered.
